Shared Sessions

Navaid has a public, read-only viewer for a session share token. A recipient can open /shared/<token> without signing in when the token is valid.

Current availability​

The current Session Summary page does not expose controls to:

  • create a share link;
  • list share links;
  • copy an existing link; or
  • revoke a link.

Therefore there is no supported in-app creation workflow to teach at present. This guide explains how an already-issued valid link behaves, for example a link created by an earlier product version or an authorised external process.

Token grants access

Treat a shared URL as sensitive. Anyone who obtains the valid token may be able to open the shared assessment.

What a recipient sees​

The public page can show:

  • session title;
  • start date and completed duration;
  • the session-version-specific readiness or maturity map;
  • Readiness Narrative;
  • Key Constraints;
  • a standard Research-Based Benchmarks table;
  • Role-Based Next Steps; and
  • Warning Flags, when stored in the shared summary.

It does not show the authenticated application sidebar or allow edits.

The public viewer is not identical to the current authenticated Session Summary. The public page contains its own fixed benchmarks and can render legacy summary fields that the current in-app summary does not display.

Version-specific map​

The viewer uses the experience version recorded on the session:

  • current sessions render the 15-dimension Maturity Ring Map;
  • legacy shared sessions can render the earlier Readiness Map.

It does not substitute the viewer's active-company map.

An unavailable link displays a specific state when the service can determine it:

  • Link Revoked
  • Link Expired
  • Link Not Found
  • Link Unavailable

The recipient can return to the Newfound Navaid public site but cannot restore the token.

Handling a shared result​

Recipients should:

  • verify who sent it;
  • understand that it is AI-generated guidance;
  • avoid forwarding it without permission;
  • treat company strategy and constraints as confidential; and
  • consult qualified professionals for consequential decisions.

If you need to share a current summary​

Until in-app share-link controls return:

  1. Use Download PDF on the authenticated summary.
  2. Review the downloaded content.
  3. Share it through an approved organisational channel.

The PDF leaves Navaid's access controls, so manage recipients and retention separately.

There is no current user-facing share-management panel. Contact the platform operator or support team with the session and link details; do not publish the token in a public support channel.
