Session Summary and Results

Finishing a readiness session produces a read-only summary of what changed and what the company should consider next. The summary is specific to that session while its ending maturity state contributes to the company's current Maturity Map.

Open a summary

You arrive at the summary automatically after Finish & Get Summary completes. To return later:

  1. Select Sessions in the sidebar.
  2. Find a session with completed status.
  3. Open its card.

The page title is Session Summary. Its subtitle shows the completion date.

Session impact

When both the starting and ending maturity snapshots are available, the top row shows four measures:

  • Dimensions advanced — the number of dimensions that moved to a higher level;
  • Levels gained — the combined number of upward level changes;
  • Newly assessed — dimensions assessed for the first time; and
  • Duration — elapsed session time.

These figures are calculated from the stored before-and-after maturity states. A productive session can still show zero levels gained if it clarified evidence without crossing a level boundary.

Readiness Narrative

The narrative is the advisor's concise synthesis of the conversation. Use it to align colleagues on:

  • the company's present UK-entry position;
  • important evidence;
  • the main tension or opportunity; and
  • the overall direction implied by the conversation.

This text is AI-generated. Check important details against the conversation and source documents.

Dimensions advanced

If dimensions advanced, an highlighted section lists each dimension and its transition, for example L2 → L3.

No section appears when there was no upward transition. A newly assessed dimension can still be reflected in the impact row and maturity snapshot.

Maturity snapshot

The summary displays the session's ending Layered Readiness Map and the five-level legend. This is a snapshot associated with the session, not necessarily the company's latest position if more recent sessions have occurred.

Select Maturity Map in the explanatory link to open the current full company map, where you can inspect rationale, confidence, and evidence progress.

Key Constraints

When the summary identifies constraints, each appears with a title and description. Treat these as items to investigate or plan around, not as formal professional conclusions.

A section with no generated content is omitted.

Tasks generated

The Tasks section shows the tasks associated with this summary. Each card can include:

  • priority;
  • responsible role;
  • target level transition;
  • title and description;
  • maturity dimension; and
  • evidence type.

Select Manage tasks to open the company task list. If no task was generated, the section states that there are no tasks from this session.

Task creation is evidence- and transition-dependent; Navaid does not guarantee a fixed number of tasks per session. Completing a task changes its workflow status but does not automatically force the Maturity Map to advance. Read Tasks.

Next steps by role

When role-based next steps are available, they appear in a grid for:

  • CEO / Founder
  • CFO
  • CRO
  • COO / CHRO

These are advisory next steps from the summary. They are distinct from tracked task records. A small team can review every role column, regardless of job title.

View the conversation

Select View conversation in the header to open the preserved transcript. Completed conversations are read-only.

Use the transcript when:

  • a summary statement needs context;
  • a colleague wants to understand the evidence behind a conclusion; or
  • you are preparing a later focused session.

Session visibility still follows company role and ownership rules. See Roles and Session Visibility.

Download a PDF

Select Download PDF to render and download a formatted copy of the visible summary content.

The interactive links and controls are omitted from the PDF. PDF generation happens in the browser and may take a moment, particularly for a detailed map or long summary.

If export fails:

  • wait for the page to finish loading;
  • try again in an up-to-date browser;
  • avoid switching tabs during generation; and
  • check that the browser allows downloads from the application.

Actions that are not currently available

The current summary page does not offer:

  • Resume Conversation;
  • creation or management of public share links;
  • a separate research-benchmarks table;
  • warning flags as their own section;
  • Recommended Partners;
  • source-attribution controls; or
  • jump navigation between sections.

Some older sessions, translations, or internal data shapes may contain fields with those names, but they are not rendered by the current summary interface. Do not rely on them as current user actions.

Use the result

A practical review workflow is:

  1. Read the narrative and constraints.
  2. Check the impact measures and advanced dimensions.
  3. Inspect the ending snapshot.
  4. Open the current Maturity Map to see whether later sessions changed the company state.
  5. Review generated Tasks and assign an owner internally.
  6. Use role-based next steps as discussion prompts.
  7. Start a focused session after the company gathers new evidence.

Data and visibility

  • The summary is stored with the session.
  • A company manager, administrator, consultant, or system administrator may be able to view company sessions.
  • Ordinary company users see their own sessions and group sessions in which they participate.
  • Another company's members cannot access the summary through the authenticated application.
  • The Summary PDF is a local download; handle it according to your organisation's information-sharing rules.

For session-list behaviour, see Sessions. For the public viewer that can open an already-issued valid token, see Shared Sessions.
