Prospect Radar Preview

Prospect Radar is an unlisted, English-only preview that uses grounded AI search to identify organisations showing signals of UK-market entry.

It is intentionally absent from the main navigation. Reach it at:

/app/prospectradar

Availability

  • The Prospect Radar feature flag is off by default.
  • The frontend and lead-hunt service both enforce the flag.
  • System Admins bypass the flag for testing.
  • It consumes AI/search capacity and is one of Navaid’s more expensive workflows.

If disabled, the route shows a turned-off message. The setting is under System Admin → Features.

Define a hunt

All inputs are optional; leaving filters empty runs a broader search.

Sector or industry

Enter one or more sectors, such as fintech, medtech or climate hardware.

Expanding from

Enter an origin country or region when looking for companies moving from a particular market.

Signal types

Choose among:

  • UK office/HQ news
  • Funding linked to UK/EMEA expansion
  • UK job postings
  • Executive statements
  • UK/FCA filings

Source hunters

Target:

  • Companies House
  • FCA register
  • job boards
  • funding press
  • event exhibitors
  • trade programmes

Leave them unselected for a broad grounded search.

Recency

Choose past month, past three months, past six months or past 12 months.

Target leads

Select between 5 and 40 in steps of five. A higher target can take longer and consume more capacity.

Extra brief

Add a narrow natural-language instruction, such as desired company stage or specific expansion signal.

Run and review

  1. Confirm monthly budget capacity.
  2. Select Run hunt.
  3. Leave the page open; grounded search can take tens of seconds.
  4. Review the number found, deduplicated count and searches completed.
  5. Open evidence links before acting on a lead.

Each result can contain:

  • company name and website;
  • headquarters country and sector;
  • signal type/date/summary;
  • low, medium or high UK intent;
  • suggested outreach angle;
  • evidence URL.

The bottom transparency panel can show search queries and grounding sources.

Export CSV

Select Export CSV after results arrive. The file includes company, website, origin, sector, signal, intent, evidence and outreach fields.

Treat exported data as research leads, not verified sales records. Apply your organisation’s privacy, prospecting and retention rules.

Verification requirements

Grounded AI results can still be incomplete, stale or mistaken.

Before outreach:

  • open the evidence URL;
  • verify the date and named company;
  • distinguish announced intent from completed entry;
  • check official registries where relevant;
  • confirm contact-lawful basis and suppression lists;
  • rewrite suggested outreach in your own voice.

An intent label is an AI assessment, not a factual guarantee.

Troubleshooting

No results

Widen recency, remove signal/source filters, broaden sector wording or reduce origin specificity.

Hunt fails

Check feature availability, budget capacity and service status. Avoid immediately launching multiple high-count retries.

Do not open it. Report the result through Feedback and include the hunt context without copying sensitive data.

Results differ between runs

Search indexes, grounding and AI synthesis change over time. Preserve evidence, not just the generated summary.

Preview status

Prospect Radar is not a generally advertised product surface. Its route, controls and data contract may change. Do not promise ongoing availability or use it as the sole record of prospect research.
