Multi-company Overview
Overview is a consolidated readiness portfolio for people with elevated access to multiple companies or a Consultant portfolio.
It does not grant access to a company. It summarises only active memberships the signed-in user is authorised to administer.
Access rules
Overview appears when one of these applies:
- a System Admin has active membership in more than one company—feature-flag bypass;
- a Company Consultant has at least one active Consultant membership and the Overview flag is enabled;
- a Company Admin administers more than one company and the Overview flag is enabled.
A single-company Admin does not receive a one-row Overview. Company Managers and Users do not qualify.
For non-System Admins, the portfolio includes active companies where the person is a Consultant or Admin. It does not include companies where they are only a Manager or User.
Portfolio summary
Top cards show:
- number of companies;
- average maturity;
- assessment/session activity;
- open tasks;
- critical tasks.
Treat an average as orientation, not a league table. Companies can be at different stages, sectors and evidence depth.
Needs attention
This section highlights companies with weighted reasons such as:
- critical tasks;
- regression;
- stalled progress;
- not started.
Use it to prioritise investigation. It is not an automatic risk decision.
- read the reason badge;
- open the company;
- inspect its Maturity Map, Tasks and Progression;
- speak with the company before acting on an inference.
Momentum
Momentum highlights positive movement and progress. Check the underlying dimensions and time range before reporting it externally.
Dimension heatmap
The heatmap compares company levels across all readiness dimensions and includes a portfolio average row.
Use it to:
- find common weak dimensions;
- identify peer patterns;
- plan cohort support;
- select a company for deeper review.
Do not interpret colour without the numeric maturity level and evidence/confidence context.
Company cards
Each company card summarises key readiness and task information. Opening a company switches the active company and takes you into its detailed workspace.
After switching, confirm the company name in the navigation before editing settings, members or knowledge.
Export CSV
Use CSV for structured portfolio analysis:
- apply the desired current view;
- select CSV export;
- save to an approved location;
- review company names and values;
- protect the file as commercially sensitive data.
Export PDF
Use PDF for a point-in-time readable report. Check pagination and date, and explain that values can change as new sessions and tasks are recorded.
Exports contain cross-company information. Do not distribute one company’s data to another client.
Suggested review workflow
- Review summary and Needs attention.
- Scan Momentum to avoid a deficit-only view.
- Compare the heatmap.
- Open the most relevant company.
- Review Maturity Map confidence and rationale.
- Review Tasks and Progression.
- Record actions in the appropriate company system.
- Return to Overview to continue.
Data freshness
Overview is assembled from current company maturity, session and task data. Refresh after significant work. A session that is still generating its summary may not yet be reflected everywhere.
Troubleshooting
Overview is missing
Check role, number of active memberships and the Overview feature flag. System Admin bypass requires more than one active membership.
A company is absent
Confirm the membership is active and that you hold Admin or Consultant role there. Manager/User memberships are excluded from a non-System Admin portfolio.
Numbers differ from a company page
Refresh both pages and compare the same scope. Portfolio summaries aggregate data, while a company page may show a different time range or live state.
Opening a card changed my active company
That is expected. Use the company selector to return, and always re-check context before administrative writes.
