Feedback and My Reports

Every authenticated user can submit a bug report or feature request from Feedback in the sidebar. Navaid can use AI to organise a natural-language description into editable fields before it is sent.

Open Feedback

Select Feedback near the bottom of the sidebar. The dialog opens on New report and resets the draft each time it is reopened.

The other tab, My reports, is a read-only list of feedback you submitted.

Submit a bug

  1. Select Bug.
  2. Describe what went wrong in your own words.
  3. Include what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened.
  4. Select Prepare feedback.
  5. Review and edit:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Steps to reproduce
    • Expected behaviour
    • What actually happened
    • Area
    • Priority
  6. Select Send feedback.

Good reproduction detail includes the active company, page, browser/device, sequence of actions, and whether retrying changed the result. Do not include passwords, verification codes, or private keys.

Submit a feature request

  1. Select Feature request.
  2. Explain what you want to do and why it would help.
  3. Select Prepare feedback.
  4. Review Title, Description, Area, and Priority.
  5. Select Send feedback.

Bug-only reproduction and expected/actual fields are omitted for a feature request.

AI preparation

Prepare feedback sends the description to an AI structuring service. The result is a draft; review every field.

Select Re-prepare with AI after changing the original description if you want a new structure.

If preparation fails, Navaid still opens a manual form:

  • the title is seeded from the first part of your description;
  • the description is retained; and
  • a warning explains that automatic structure failed.

You can edit and send it without successful AI preparation.

AI preparation can use the monthly token budget. The actual feedback record is created only after you select Send.

Priority

Choose:

  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
  • Critical

Use Critical for a severe, broadly blocking or security-sensitive issue, not simply an important personal preference. System administrators can later adjust priority during triage.

After submission

The success page offers:

  • Send another; and
  • Close.

Navaid also attempts to notify System Admins, but notification delivery is best-effort and does not determine whether the feedback record was saved.

My reports

Open My reports to see your submissions. Each item shows:

  • Bug or Feature request;
  • title;
  • submitted date; and
  • status.

Statuses are:

  • New
  • Triaged
  • Planned
  • In progress
  • Done
  • Declined

The user list does not expose internal triage notes, editing, or deletion. A System Admin manages those on the Feedback board.

Company association

When an active company is available, Navaid associates the report with that company. The report still belongs to the submitting user for the My reports view.

Switch to the relevant company before reporting a company-specific problem.

Report a security issue safely

Do not paste credentials, service keys, access tokens, or exploitable customer data into a normal feedback report. Follow your organisation's approved security-reporting channel for sensitive vulnerabilities.

Use the feedback form for a non-sensitive reproduction or product symptom only.

Troubleshooting

Prepare feedback is disabled

Enter a non-empty description first.

Send feedback is disabled

The prepared Title is required. Add a short title.

My report is missing

Close and reopen Feedback, then select My reports so the list reloads. Confirm submission showed the success page.

Status has not changed

Statuses change only when a System Admin triages the report. Submission does not guarantee scheduling or acceptance.
