Feature Availability and Troubleshooting
What appears in Navaid depends on company membership, role, company count, feature flags, environment configuration, budget capacity and—in one seasonal case—the date.
This page helps distinguish “not available to me” from a product fault.
Always-available core surfaces
For an active company member, the normal application includes:

The Company page requires Manager, Admin, Consultant or System Admin scope. System Admin requires the platform-level flag.

The company-budget master switch lives under Budgets rather than Features and can block AI operations across all surfaces.
Role-dependent navigation
- User: own sessions, joined group sessions and core company readiness surfaces.
- Manager: Company page and company-wide session visibility.
- Admin: Manager visibility plus membership and knowledge administration.
- Consultant: Admin-equivalent permissions, multi-company operation and flag-gated Overview.
- System Admin: platform administration and specified flag bypasses.

Multi-company requirements
The company selector and creation controls depend on role:
- Consultants and System Admins can create an additional company.
- People with multiple memberships can switch companies.
- Overview has stricter access rules than the selector.

Browser and device requirements
Use a current desktop or mobile browser with:
- JavaScript enabled;
- local storage/cookies allowed for authentication and preferences;
- download permission for PDF/CSV/JSON exports;
- microphone permission for voice;
- a stable connection for AI and realtime features.
Voice and complex administration are easiest to troubleshoot on a current desktop browser.
Standard troubleshooting sequence
- Confirm the selected company.
- Confirm your role in that company.
- Refresh once.
- Sign out and back in if membership changed.
- Check the relevant feature flag with a System Admin.
- Check dependent features and provider configuration.
- Check monthly budget capacity.
- Capture route, time, browser and exact error.
- Submit Feedback or contact the platform operator.
Do not repeatedly trigger an AI operation while its status is uncertain.
Common cases
New Session button is missing from the sidebar
The prominent sidebar shortcut appears after the company has session history. You can still use the Dashboard or Sessions page to start the first session.
Overview is missing
You need the appropriate multi-company role/count and feature state. A single-company Admin does not receive a one-row portfolio page.
Company is missing
Ordinary Company Users do not see Company Administration. Ask an Admin to review your role.
Aida is missing
The Aida flag may be off. System Admins can test despite the flag.
Group voice is missing
Both Group sessions and Group voice must be available, and you must be a participant in the group session.
Language is missing
The multilingual flag may be off for ordinary app users. Marketing and System Admin views are exceptions.
AI feature shows a budget error
The effective monthly input or output limit has been reached. See Token budgets.
Update notification appears
Navaid detected a newer deployed application version. Save active work, then use the refresh action. A stale open tab can otherwise fail to load newer code chunks.
