Partners

Partners are trusted service-provider records that Navaid may use as context when an advisor recommendation calls for outside support. Only System Admins can manage the platform-wide partner catalogue.

What the Partners tab supports

Open System Admin → Partners to:

  • view all partner records;
  • see each partner’s categories and active/inactive state;
  • add a partner;
  • activate or deactivate a partner.

The current interface does not provide:

  • editing an existing partner;
  • deleting a partner;
  • recommendation, click or conversion analytics.

Plan entries carefully because correcting a name, description or URL may require creating a replacement record and deactivating the old one.

Categories

A partner can belong to one or more categories:

  • Banking & finance
  • Legal & compliance
  • Talent & hiring
  • Market intelligence
  • Go-to-market
  • Operational setup

Choose only categories the provider can genuinely support. Over-categorisation makes advisor context less precise.

Add a partner

  1. Open System Admin → Partners.
  2. Select Add Partner.
  3. Enter the partner name.
  4. Write a factual description of relevant services.
  5. Enter the official website URL.
  6. Select one or more categories.
  7. Confirm Add Partner.
  8. Review the new card and its status.

Use a direct, stable HTTPS website rather than tracking links.

Activate or deactivate

An active record is eligible to be supplied to the advisor as partner context. An inactive record remains in the catalogue but should not be recommended.

Deactivate a partner when:

  • the relationship is paused;
  • services or territory no longer match;
  • the URL or description has become misleading;
  • due diligence needs review.

Deactivation does not remove earlier conversation text or historical summaries.

How partners can appear to users

Active partner records are made available to the conversation system, so an advisor may mention a relevant provider during chat. A record’s presence does not guarantee a recommendation on every session.

The current Session Summary interface does not render a dedicated Recommended Partners or partner-analytics section. Do not tell users to expect one.

Catalogue quality checklist

Before adding or keeping a partner active:

  • confirm the organisation and website;
  • verify UK-market relevance;
  • use neutral, supportable descriptions;
  • avoid unverified performance claims;
  • review category fit;
  • remove expired promotional language;
  • follow your organisation’s due-diligence process.

Navaid surfacing a record is not a substitute for procurement or legal checks.

Updating inaccurate details

Because there is no edit control:

  1. deactivate the inaccurate record;
  2. add a corrected replacement;
  3. confirm the replacement is active;
  4. verify there is only one active representation of the provider.

Troubleshooting

A partner is not mentioned

Confirm it is active and categorised appropriately. Recommendations are contextual; the advisor may determine that no partner is relevant.

An old description still appears in history

Historical messages and completed summaries are immutable records. Updating the catalogue affects future context only.

Duplicate records exist

Deactivate the obsolete duplicates and leave one accurate active record.
